Signing requirements can depend on the type of notarial act being performed. When in doubt, leave the signature area unsigned until the appointment or follow instructions provided by the document recipient or issuing organization.

A notary cannot choose the notarial act for you or provide legal advice about which notarization your document requires.

If the document does not clearly indicate the required notarial act, contact the person or organization receiving the document or consult a qualified attorney.

Each person whose signature requires the notarial act must personally appear as required for that notarization.

Yes. Cornerstone is designed as a mobile notary service and may meet clients at homes, businesses, workplaces, and other mutually agreed locations throughout the service area.

Travel availability and applicable mileage depend on the appointment location. Anticipated mileage charges will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.

Mobile appointments may be available at hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, assisted-living communities, and similar locations.

Facility access, identification, signer circumstances, availability, and other notarial requirements may affect whether the notarization can be completed.

Whether a notarization can proceed depends on the circumstances and the identification methods legally available for the particular situation.

The anticipated total is based on the applicable Arizona notarial fee and authorized mobile mileage. Cornerstone's standard notarial fees are $10 per notary public signature for an acknowledgment or jurat, $10 per page certified for an eligible copy certification, and $10 per notarial act for an oath or affirmation.

Mobile mileage is currently charged at $0.67 per mile and is calculated using the round-trip distance between Cornerstone's Tolleson service base and the appointment location.

The anticipated charges will be explained before the appointment is confirmed whenever practical.

Yes, after-hours appointments may be available by request and are subject to availability. Cornerstone does not charge a separate after-hours surcharge.

Cornerstone's regular business hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Requests outside those hours are considered individually and are not guaranteed.

Cornerstone currently accepts cash, Zelle, and approved business checks.

Credit, debit, and contactless payment options will be added once Cornerstone's payment-processing setup is completed.

Cornerstone is based in Tolleson, Arizona and serves the cities and unincorporated Maricopa County communities listed on the Service Area page.

Unincorporated addresses are verified before booking. All appointments remain subject to scheduling and availability. Mileage is calculated using the round-trip distance between Cornerstone's Tolleson service base and the appointment location.
